NORWALK, Ohio, Sept. 26, 2018 – Eli Gunzburg, manager of the newly formed Gaymont Leasing, LLC, announced that he has entered into an agreement to own Gaymont Nursing Center on approximately November 1, 2018.
Gaymont will use Providence Healthcare Management to provide consulting and office support services to Gaymont, a 112-bed skilled nursing facility that has been a cornerstone of the Norwalk, Ohio, community since 1961.
The announcement came during a Wednesday staff meeting attended by Gaymont’s current owners Bill and Erin Dotson, the majority of Gaymont employees, Gunzburg, and several employees of Providence Healthcare Management.
A mainstay of Norwalk’s business community, Gaymont was founded by the late William Dotson, Sr. in 1961. In the nearly six decades since, the business has been synonymous with quality care, local philanthropy, and community events. That level of engagement will continue with new ownership, as Gunzburg has already expressed his desire to maintain a high level of involvement within the community.
“It’s not everyday that we get the opportunity to work with a staff as dedicated as those at Gaymont Nursing Center have proven to be. I am humbled to have this opportunity with Gaymont and to begin caring for the residents and their families in a community as welcoming and charming as Norwalk.”
